"You can never have too many cardigans."This is my new mantra.
I was talking to Abby about this the other day. I feel like I have lots of "accent pieces" and no basics. And I keep buying the accent pieces. And then I wonder why I can't find anything to wear. Ugh. It's so frustrating. So this year is all about basics.
I need to invest in some customizable staples:
+ Cardigans - in lots of colors
+ Summer dresses (which I'll wear 3/4 of the year with the right layers)
+ Multiple bottoms - I need to embrace shorts, different cuts of pants
+ A good, standard trench coat
+ High quality flats and heels
+ A few handbags in different colors/sizes
But this is good. With my other goal this year, it will give me plenty of time to save up the cold hard cash I'll need to pull this feat off.
